Notice Requirements:
If submitting outside the online form, your notice must include:

  • Authorized signature of the copyright owner or agent (electronic signature allowed).
  • Description of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed, including URLs if available.
  • Location of infringing material, with Item Instock listing URL(s).
  • Copyright owner contact information: Name, address, phone number, and email.
  • Good faith statement confirming the use is unauthorized by the copyright owner or law.
  • Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury confirming the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized agent.

Counter Notice Requirements:
If you believe a DMCA notice was submitted in error, you may submit a written counter-notification to Item Instock’s DMCA agent. A valid counter-notice must include:

  • Description of removed material, including Item Instock listing number.
  • Good faith statement indicating removal was a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your contact information: Name, address, phone number, and email.
  • Consent to jurisdiction of Federal District Court in your district (or U.S. District Court, Northern District of California if outside the U.S.) and accept service of process.
  • Physical or electronic signature.
