Item Instock Prohibited Conduct Policy

Item Instock may not be used in connection with any product, service, transaction, or activity that:

  • Violates any law or government regulation, or encourages others to do so;
  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, unfair, or predatory;
  • Damages or threatens Item Instock’s reputation;
  • Violates financial network terms;
  • Creates significant risk of chargebacks, penalties, damages, or liability.

Item Instock has established this Prohibited Conduct Policy to protect users from harm and prevent abuse of the platform. By using Item Instock, you agree to comply with all rules, policies, and guidelines.

Examples of Prohibited Conduct:

  • Using Item Instock for illegal purposes or to infringe third-party rights, including intellectual property.
  • Posting unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, hateful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable content.
  • Interfering with security features, reverse engineering, or accessing source code unlawfully.
  • Disrupting the Service or user experience, including uploading malware, unsolicited ads, unauthorized data collection, or using automated tools like bots or scrapers.
  • Fraudulent activities, including impersonation, false affiliations, unauthorized account access, falsifying personal or tax information.
  • Transferring or selling access rights, account privileges, or materials without authorization.

Actions Item Instock May Take for Violations:

  • Contact users or utilize third-party verification services to confirm identity or listing information.
  • Remove listings, suspend accounts, or restrict access pending verification.
  • Prohibit previously terminated users from accessing future services.
  • Hold funds to cover chargeback or refund risks arising from prohibited conduct.
  • Update prohibited conduct rules at any time.

Specific Restrictions:

Transactions:

  • Encouraging payments outside Item Instock;
  • Trading, exchanging, or selling off-platform;
  • Unauthorized returns, shipping internationally without permission, or improper use of shipping labels;
  • Buying from or selling to oneself for credit or other advantage;
  • Providing invalid tracking information.

Accounts:

  • Maintaining multiple accounts;
  • Bypassing restrictions or bans;
  • Impersonating businesses or other users;
  • Providing false registration or tax information.

Listings:

  • Listing prohibited items;
  • Duplicate, excessive, or misleading listings;
  • Using photos or content without ownership or consent;
  • Listing items not in possession or shipping from third parties;
  • Misrepresenting size, brand, or details; auction-style or free listings for profit;
  • Promoting external websites or services improperly.

Solicitation and Other Conduct:

  • Soliciting users to external websites or to share personal information;
  • Encouraging prohibited conduct;
  • Threats, slander, trolling, indecent behavior, spamming, copyright infringement, or misuse of platform credit systems;
  • Using the platform for dating or unrelated personal purposes.

Users are encouraged to report any observed prohibited conduct to Item Instock immediately.
